Xbox Live problems are so rare that when it does happen its considered news!!
Its been rock solid for so many years that when this happen, MS said sorry and offered free Xbox Live game to all its users.
Its no secret that MS completly underestimated its sales during the holiday season, they where not ready for the increased usage and where not ready to restock the shelves.
