As I said, everyone has been doing pretty well at staying low this round, so it's just a feeling. But I don't want to instantly believe any "town" scan this game, because if it's as power-heavy as I think it could be, the Mafia are definitely going to have a few tricks to mess around with us. That's not to say I don't believe that Linkz is an investigative role necessarily - although that could be the case too.

Fair enough.
The whole miller/cop thing is interesting, but I'm not liking it.
Vette has never really doubted the existance of a cop, it was brought up by linkz, and reinforced by yoshiya and noctis. Vette might be just hoping for a roleclaim, and it is backfiring him. Interest in roles is normal, but Vette might be pushing it too hard.

Now its possible a Cop would replace the Watcher, but its not the norm. Which is what I am basing my situation on. Maybe like you said the Watcher part is actually replaced by a JOAT, which includes cop ability as well.

Vette clearly has said that the fact that we have a Tracker means there's likely a Watcher but not a Cop.
