THIS a hundred million times!!! Nintendo is in the perfect spot where they can treat this "relaunch" as if it was a completely new console. People not knowing that the Wii U exists could actually be a huge advantage to them in this regard. And honestly, it has the potencial to be pure marketing genious. Especially with bundles acting a "launches." A Wind Waker HD "launch" bundle in September, A Wii Fit U "launch" bungle in December. A Super Mario 3D World "launch" bundle too. With good advertising, they could turn a year of failure into one of the most engenious marketing schemes ever concieved! And it would perfect because it can only work if no one knows that the Wii U exists. They can effectively have two successful launches for one console! They already have a 4m install base buffer before the holidays. With a proper relaunch campaign, they could genuinely match and surpass launch numbers this holiday. (Not PS4, but definitely XBO) Most people would simply think that the Wii U is coming out this holiday. Genious really.
