It's a shame iOS/Android games are generally certain touch friendly genres or crap. Though just got a new Nexus 7 so will have a proper scout to see if there is much has come to change my mind on this. But the main reason for that was for emulators hooked up via HDMI and using a blue tooth pad. Certainly not practical as a portable gaming solution, but neither is my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, it's horrible to play games on unless it's something like Angry Birds or Solitaire.
That said, I currently have no interest playing games on my phone. So I'll keep my Vita and 3DS as long as they are pumping out more games I want to play.
RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.
