My first console was the PS1 but none of my friends had one so it gathered dust because I didn't know what games to buy for it. After that I pretty much went Nintendo only until 2008 when I was saving up for a Xbox 360. There was a lot of Sony hate at the time and I only knew a handful of people with a PS3 so I jumped on the bandwagon even though I never played a PS3.
About a year went by and I got a PS2 because I missed out on a bunch of great titles for it and later I went to go get some PS1 games I missed out too. A couple of my close friends who didn't have a 7th gen console yet went off to buy a PS3 and so I made the switch too. I also picked up a PSP and later a PSV and now looking forward to the PS4.
I will always be a Nintendo gamer at heart but Sony has become more and more of a close second.
