Meaning that in technical sense games can be identical, but the brighter colours makes objects more aliased. Although, more anti-aliasing used, makes the picture more darker/more "cepian".

This is an excellent point, doubly so because IGN seemed completely unconcerned about the aliasing, which means that it wasn't very noticable.
