If the PS3 has more internal bandwidth, or VRAM available - they could be internally rendering it at a higher resolution, then down sampling (assuming both versions are running at the same resolution).

That is about the only thing that could affect the aliasing. Or the PS3 has a better FSAA (full screen, anti-aliasing) hardware implementation - or one that affects frame rate less.

Need to compare stills of the game, at exactly the same spot to make a good comparison. I'll be surprised if there are any real differences - one might have better loading times (on startup, or new areas) - that is about it.
