technology makes some trides ??? 1 or 2 century ???? looking at where cybernetics, and brainwave control is today the only real issue we'll have by the end of this very century is feedback...
the tech will be there way before your expectation.... it's already around the corner... the hold back will be cost, security and legal issues..... ghost in the shell is at the door.....
not for holodeck though... more like a surrogate (the movie) kind of deal
