Basic haptic feedback, throug vibration and clicks, can be turned on in most smartphones and tablets, although "blind" usage is still not possible, unless they devise a smart gesture convention for the touch commands instead of tapping. Its worst flaw is the touchscreen too little to emulate a universal remote. A cheap tablet, would be much better. About the XBOne system, I can't judge it until I see how it works if one doesn't want to use voice commands. In this case I suspect it requires the same number of steps as any other universal remote with the same number of physical buttons available, so it will surely have one-click commands for the most used functions of the main devices and multiple-step procedures for least common functions and least used devices. And obviously, one-click commands will be faster than voice controls.
