First off those commercials are dumb. Every papertowl company says that without stating what other brand it is. It could be some 2c brand for all we know and we are just suppose to take their word for it.
Trolling? More like padding stats and often time false advertising.
Better examples would be electronic companies like Samsung vs Apple, Apple vs MSFT, or Nvidia vs AMD. HIGHLY competitive companies where they directly target a few other companies. Not an industry that has a ton of brands that people dont even pay attention to.
