They've always been bad at map design and weapon balance, in this the spawning is a joke, seen enemy spawn right in front of me so many times, often with back to me.

Silenced weapons will rule this game, not enough players to put them at a disadvantage.

KZ3 ha a few maps with issues...like mawlr graveyard but it also had some real good maps. So far during private beta and PS+ beta I have played through three maps and all have been real good. Perfect size, no place that can get infested with campers as each location has multple openings and I have yet to use a silent weapon so far in the game and have done pretty decently. (would have done better if I had known how to use the 'hacking' function properly before) Several options to quickly reach elevated points in the map is pretty useful for tactical combat as well. But yea they should have had a small tutorial on the hacking process as I have seen many who got confused by it

I do agree with you on the spawning. It happened a few times to me as well and from user feedback I have seen so far that's the biggest complaint. So hopefully they will fix it by the time of the open beta next week if not at least by the game launch.
