Some animals can see in different directions with only two eyes. Our eyes move in pair for the most part, so it's not completely unreasonable to assume that if we had 4 eyes we could look in two different directions. What makes you think that having 4 eyes would automatically make us look in different directions when you say that OTHER animals can do it with 2 but we cant?
Saying we "don't have chamelion eyes" would be a much better example than saying "we don't have 4."
