well the projector and cable box if they are using HDMI CEC shouldn't need the IR blaster if I'm correct....
just your amp should need it....
but I don't get your set up???? that your projecter and amp are not at the same place I can understand.... but where is your cable box ??? it should be either close to one or the other ??? separating it seems weird.... or do you have one of those cable box that does also internet ethernet/wifi router and you have to put it somewhere else to benefit fully of the internet capabilities ???
