6 at launch 2 more for dlc   if/when u spend $20 you get all 8 the first 6 then the 2 when they are released   note u cant spend more then 20 unless u buy the $40 bundle

Hope they make more characters in the future though. 8's kinda low.

they said that a season 2 will come in about a year with probably the same payment plan but no word on how many char will come with it
