Anyway, i think it it a very good move. The problem is most hardcore fans get twitchy by the start of October. If I was on the fence, I can see how it would push the decision towards the Xbox One. With prices for games likely to be ~£45 a PS4 + FIFA 14 will probably come to £395, ie £35 cheaper than the Xbox One. For people who have existing gold subscriptions you can see how this might encourage them to stay on "the same team" |
Very true and in these coming months is when it's all going to matter. MS has to advertise right and make the right moves. I think so far they are hitting it out of the park. If they keep it up, they will have people making the jump off that fence. They have to keep it coming.
