Microsoft is positioning itself really nice. In my other thread ( http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=166536&page=1#) I mention that the marketing machine has woken. This seems to just be the beginning. We learned today, that if you pre-order Xbox One, you get a copy of Fifa 14 with your Xbox One in Europe.
This is a nice start but they need to target the European market a little more. I assume they will. Something that will help I think would be to throw in a year of Xbox Live. This will push people to try XBox live that never have and it's a great way to make the European market buy in. This will also create more sales down the road for xbox live. Maybe just 6 months would do it.
What do you think? Do you think this will shift a few over to XBox One? I think it will but they need to add a little more to the offer. Lets be honest, Europe doesn't see the benefit of the NFL. Kinect 2.0 is worth the extra cost but the launch of XBox One was a disaster. So they need to get people to focus on the positives that Xbox One brings. The games I think win hands down, this is just my opinion. So if they sweeten the deal, People will make the plunge.
However this is just the beginning of the marketing machine. We got September, then October, November at full speed, Lets not forget next year, which will be non-stop Xbox One marketing. The super bowl and all. This time will be spent buttering up fans that are Poopy.
