Can move them individually, but it is so slow that unless got data caps you're better off redownloading, much faster.

This is very dubious. You connect to your PS3 using the USB cable. The transfer is not slow at all, but will take a minute. Its definitly not faster to redownload. At least not for me. Besides safely stashing your copy in case it leaves the PSN.

I can also confirm that you can move them one at a time indeed. You can move saves, video etc. Whatever you want back and forth with the PS3 or your PC.
