Why would they want to release in Japan in 2013? It's in Sony's best interest to launch in Europe and NA first, considering Sony has already won Japan.

Hmmm... Last time I checked, we were talking about Sony and Microsoft. And Nintendo is not competing with anyone, they do there own thing.

If that's what you believe then so be it. 

It's all about third party games, and Nintendo has none. If Nintendo were truly competing, they would have had a similar console to the PS4/X1. Nintendo is trying to appeal to a different audience, while Sony and Microsoft are fighting for the same crowd. At this point, Sony and Microsoft aren't worried about Nintendo.
