Both were just too lazy and uninspired in the midst of keeping the big cards hidden from each other. Its a good thing MS has been trying hard to fix their PR, xbox fans are benefiting from it. Sony on the other hand is just playing it too safe and reserved, still riding the waves from E3.
Personally I was hoping to hear about a new mass effect, ended up having not even a rumour at that. Still too early I guess.
