You do realize that Disney has the ultimate say and that Nomura will have to go along with it whether he likes it or not or not be involved in the project at all, right? Disney will and has enacted their ability to make KH games without Nomura/SE's involvement. And Disney has every reason to push for a console, the entire purpose of KH is to bring Disney movies to Japan's mainstream. Not exactly going to happen on a console that's not really selling over there, is it? I really don't understand that after SE got Crystal Tools/White Engine to work on Wii and even announced that the Wii was one of only three of their main platforms, people still seem to be tied to this notion that SE resents the console, that they have no intentions of putting any of their major franchises on it, and that their development teams would revolt if assigned to a Wii project even if it meant losing out on money nd even severing connections with the company that holds all the rights to Kingdom Hearts and its characters. It just doesn't make sense.

yes, the game no one cared about and no one bought. disney did a great job with that game. if nomura doesnt like it then he will not work on kh and that will greatly affect the series at least its reception.
i don't think the wii tools are 100% ready yet, but that doesn't really matter since kh3 at most is in very early production. the use of the wiiusing the same engine is that the tools are the same, not that it can run the same things. it makes it easier if devs have 1 set of tools to use for everything. they will still put the same games on the same consoles (less ps3 exclusives though, because of 360 and pc).
