I think, unless I missed something.  He might just be going by the news, that they didn't announce much.  

Microsoft had a conference last night, however it showed virtually nothing new... or of interest IMO... Was rather tame and lackluster. This essentially supported my idea that they showed the vast bulk of their games at E3, having nothing new to really "Wow" people for the rest of the year. Which, as a Sony fan, makes me even more hyped with what Sony is going to hit us with during their conference :D
