Color me impressed. I hope this is in fact true.
It does mean EA just put a huge pressure on their developers to create quality content though. I imagine a disaster like Simcity, to be repeated would have dire consequences. But if they are willing to take that challenge head on, it might be a step in the right direction for EA.
Now go make SWTOR in a new engine like square did with FFXIVARR!
