Would be surprised if EA would do this, Microsoft must be paying major bucks to make this deal happen.

Wonder if it is true if it will really sway Europeans to purchase it the Xbox One over the PS4.. I doubt it PS4+Fifa is still cheaper then Xbox one

You do realize that Peter Moore, over at EA, was the head of the Xbox team at one point, don't you?

It may be just an inkind business exchange.  Where Microsoft gives EA something in exchange for a strong partnership.  Like, servers in the cloud at a reduced price or free for a fixed period.  Microsoft doesn't pay any money, and EA doesn't receive any money, but they both get something out of the deal that makes the arrangement worth it.

No matter what relationship EA has with Microsoft its a businesses I highly doubt EA would just give Microsoft one of there biggest franchises to MS just for a couple of cloud severs. I imagine MS had to pay a hefty amount of money to pull this off. Perhaps they made a deal like EA makes more money off of each of there games sold on Xbox one then before ( example they made 40% of each game sold now they get 60% or something like that. ) MS had to do something major to get EA to do this, if the free game is Fifa.
