ACE: I'm pretty sure having depth is what SR is trying to shy away from. That's what a lot of people think "doomed" GTAIV because they focused a little too much on a deep story.
SR goes for the throat with it's outlandish action and silliness. It may have been a clone before but after SR3 every major gaming site agreed it was it's own game now.
I'm actually said they're going to take a break from SR for a while to reevaluate what they're going to do with the franchise. I liked what they were doing with it and I don't want it to change.
