I'm pretty sure I've seen someone with a one-shot poison as town before and even if I haven't, there is nothing to stop Mario from having included one in this game. One thing that needs to be remembered is that we haven't actually confirmed the person that killed Stefl was a poisoner, it could have just been a normal SK or Vigilante and Mario chose to talk about him being poisoned in the flavour.
