Blast Corps was awesome.
The N64 was such an awesome console, that even smaller, lesser known games like this were absolutely great and better than most of the stuff put out today. Yes, I have fond memories of this game, it was one of the first I had for the system and it's still neatly stored in it's box right here on the shelf. It got quite hard in the later levels and I wasn't very good with the dump-truck and the buggy (the vehicles where you'd drift into objects, the robots were my favorite), but I have finished the game. The bonus levels on the moon and stuff were a blast.
I could play it right now if I wanted to, so I wouldn't need a remake. A Blast Corps 2 though? Maybe, but a lot would need to be done, the game wouldn't have enough content by today's standards and I don't know if unconventional concepts like this would be welcomed in today's market.
