You won't notice the difference on a High-end system with an SSD.

You will notice a big difference on devices such as Netbooks and anything with a 5400rpm hard drive, the difference on anything better than that will be relatively minimal.
It didn't make Minecraft run any smoother on my Intel Atom tablet, but it sure did make it load faster. :)

However, I found with my Resolution on my Desktop that I actually became less productive with Windows 8, so it seems I'm sticking with Windows 7 for the long term, at-least on my Desktop.
