Yeah, I'm the same way really.

I bought (or was gifted) all my Nintendo systems based on the strengh of the development teams and the promise of great titles to come.

I bought my X360 mostly because of Gears of War, BioShock, Banjo-Kazooie, and the promise of Beyond Good & Evil 2. Still waiting for that one, Ancel.

I got my PS2 to catch up on a huge backlog of PS1 and PS2 titles, including Grand Theft Auto, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, Final Fantasy, etc.

I was gifted a PS3 bundled with Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time and LittleBigPlanet.

And I picked up a Vita on sale bundled with Assassin's Creed and Playstation All-Stars.
