Not going to look up links but the more recent ones that I can think of off the top of my head is the Watch Dogs developer and John Carmack(Someone with great credentials) to say they are identical.
Now I really dont want to argue about things I and you know very little about other than what we hear from across the industry. We will see what happens in the coming years if there is a significant difference or if it is nearly identical like this generation(PS3 more powerful).
