Do you want the Vita to eventually do better than the 3DS?

Except that there are no easily recognizable franchises by any type of gamer, or non-gamer. They have Uncharted, God of War, and LBP. That's pretty much it. Most Non-gamers who have never played on a Playstation only know very little about any of them, and are uninterested in their games. Nintendo has always had the Mario, the Zelda, and the Pokemon to drive their handheld sales. Also, the DS brand is more recognizable than the PSP/Vita brand. The DS is the second best selling video game console of all time, after all.

I'm not sure what your point is. The question was whether I wanted the Vita to do better. I said yes and gave my reason. The better it does, the more games it will get.

My point is that there is no easily recognizable games, so it won't sell, so no games. Also, you never gave a reason why it is the "perfect" handheld that you say it is. Its flaw is the lack of recognizable games.

It's fairly obvious why it's the perfect handheld. Amazing screen, great d-pad, 2 analog sticks, snappy OS. Gaming on it is a real pleasure.

Lack of recognizable games? Does anyone here not know what Uncharted is? Or LBP?
