I think what has happened is that people hyped the 360 too much. It only began "dominating" the PS3 last August, and even the domination every talked about was due to Sony blowing it big time with the PS3, and Halo 3 being released.

The 360 was never doing amazingly. It was just doing better than a failing PS3 and a failure, the original Xbox. But there was never a 360 rave or revolution except on the Internet. I'm glad sites are starting to reveal the 360 for the fraud that it is.Its a good console, its lineup is better than the PS3, but it doesn't do anything thats really breath taking.

Think about the jump from the PS1 to PS2. Now think about the jump from PS2 to 360. Its not even close. Its not RROD as much as it is the wow factor. It lacks anything that makes you NEED to upgrade. And thats why it might do well with fans of its software lineup, but those who aren't looking for a reason to like the 360 will never find one (at this rate, atleast.)

Many of you also have to admit, if GTAIV was released tommorow the PS3 would own that launch. It may not sell more software, but its hardware boost would be 3x that of the Xbox360. Unless Microsoft really has a huge budget they are throwing at the launch to make it seem like a 360 exclusive, even that extra content isn't going to save them this year. They wont even come close to last years totals since Sony is selling lots more now, and Gears 2 is absolutely not Halo 3.

Even the 3/4 most recent multiplatform games are "better on the PS3" according to gamepro. We have seen that the Arcade doesnt sell well because of recent sales, so there is a $50 difference between the 360 and PS3. That difference is nullified by the Live yearly cost. So when you can get the experience for the same price, with more features, and bigger AAA titles being released this year why go with the 360? 15-30% chance your hardware will fail, and the biggest game is behind you.

Oh, please.  Moving from standard res gaming to high-res gaming with significantly more horsepower isn't much of a jump?
