The console wars here are just for fun. It's just a good debatable topic. If you're looking for an alternative method to PC game for cheaper, the 360 was your best choice. Most of the larger PC releases nowadays are Microsoft published and are either PC games ported to 360 or 360 games ported to the PC. A lot of third party developers on PC are porting over their games to 360 and not the PS3 for some reason. It may be the architecture of the consoles, I'm not sure. As long as you don't have to deal with the hardware issues, you'll have a blast.
