They do know what they want. They want to be able to carry on pretending the Vita has no games. This game looks very nice indeed.

Or maybe they want compelling original software that isn't available on other consoles, or a blatant rip off of whats available on other consoles or games that have cringeworth dog dialogue?

Good games, but simply not enough to warrant purchasing a system.  I'm not saying that there isn't a single good original game on the Vita, but there is nowhere near enough to warrant a $280 purchase.
