Glad to hear it. Despite me swearing by the Arkham series, I have had no desire to play anything other than the main adventure in both games. The Combat Challenge mode has gone literally untouched all three times I've gone through and played the games (Asylum for 360, City for 360, and Armored Edition for Wii U), as I'm just not interested in participating outside the fantastic single player mode Rocksteady had created (though I'm sure many find the mode fun and rewarding. I'll gladly admit that I'm the odd one in this instance).

Since the series has been majorly influenced by the Metroid and Zelda series (single player/isolation focused adventures), I've had no such interest for a multiplayer mode for the game to begin with (and to be fair, I've really never touched Metroid's forays into multiplaye mode either [Prime 2: Echoes or Prime Hunters], or had any interest in playing Four Swords/Adventure in the Zelda series.)

Once again, I'm sure many will find the mode worth their while, but honestly, even if the mode would have made it into the Wii U version, there's an extremely good chance I will pass on it. It's just not my thing man.

So yeah, glad to see that the game is being priced accordingly. Can't wait to play it in October. ^_^

I enjoyed the Predator Mode combat challenges (mostly because it was only after i beat the game that i finally fricking understood Predator Mode, and so could actually do them), though the melee challenges were dull as dishwater.

Edit: it's good to see that Warner Bros acknowledges this, however. If other third parties followed (farts in EA's general direction), then we'd at least be starting something positive.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
