To those talking down Ryse, do you WANT it to turn out bad or something???

There's a difference between wanting and expecting.  No gamer wants any game to be bad, except for the poor gamers who don't want to feel that they missed out on something great.  But some people are expecting it to be bad, as someone expects for any and every game, if only to keep expectations down.

HAHA!

WRONG! Every single PS gamer wants that thing to turn out bad.

Except for the poor gamers who don't want to feel that they missed out on something great.

Fanboyism isn't a war, it's a defense mechanism.  Used by people to convince themselves that their product is superior in every way and that they didn't miss out on anything.  Perhaps they truly feel they didn't miss out on anything or perhaps they feel they're too poor to feel a large expense is worth it.  Either way, fanboyism has a reason.  Everything happens for a reason.  Even if we didn't like the reason or even if we can't make sense of it.

I don't see how "Every single PS gamer" wants this game to be bad.  It doesn't legitimately help them in any way.

Did you see that little tongue sticking out at you?

Agree with the defnse mechanism theory though. But I would wager that there's more to it than only that.
