I have to give MS credit for actually being able to admit that their plans were stupid and changing them. It isn't often you see a company that size being able to change their plans this quickly.
Honestly, their reveal of the X1 was probably the worst reveal in the history of console reveals. I was laughing at how terrible it was throughout the event.
Now, pretty much everything they revealed is different, which is good. The X1 is a pretty attractive console at this point and they have some pretty killer games lined up.
I was hoping they would add more value to xbox live though... and I thought they might have done that at E3 with the free games, but evidently that is only for this year... and only on the 360.
Of course, I anticipate the ps+ benefits for the ps4 will be significantly lower for the ps4 than they are now for the ps3, as it is a required subscription now and they don't need as much enticement to get subscribers...
