I'm sorta divided on this because batteries are pretty cheap nowadays and a rechargeable built in like the PS3 has was a real pain because after so many charges you couldn't get an hour out of the controller but with the 360 you could pop in 2 batteries and you were good for few months.
Then again in this day and age they should have a rechargeable battery but do it right by putting it on the outside like the Charge Kit was for the 360 and not inside where you must take the thing apart or replace it all together... Im looking at you Sony! lol
