Seems interesting, but there's lots of hyperbolic BS in that Kickstarter description. :/ There's nothing wrong with "archaic" battle systems, considering that some of the year's best RPGs are turn-based.
The gameplay does seem interesting enough, but I don't see anything special about the plot. Or world design in general. Hopefully the talent behind the game can elevate the material to something much greater.
