I don't get that either. Atleast with DRM and used game policies had legitimate reasons for their existence. The kinect requirement was just forcing something down gamers throat but for no legitimate reason. If I can still turn it completely off and I can ductape it and throw it in a "sound dampening box" then why on earth can't I unplug it? Just a strange policy.
