Actually from the looks of it 2008 may be the best year for Xbox360 and I am expecting it to peak this year.
Microsoft main issue is that the PS3 is improving a lot more in 2008 over 2007 than they are and they are loosing the momentum....
Blue Ray is starting to become a big factor in PS3 adoption and the fact that the Xbox360 has currently the biggest software line up will be less of an issue soon as the PS3 has some good titles coming out this year ( and wether you have 1000 titles or 500 titles out is not that much relevant, what matters is for a console to have a dozen or so good titles out so that there is enough to justify buying and keep customers playing on it..)
PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !
PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !
