Because no one wants to use these anymore other than me. 
I personally think Chris Roberts was on the right path to bring space sims back to life with Freelancer as well as to a more casual market. It was a great spiritual sucessor to the original Privater and suprisingly actually fun to play with a mouse. To bad MS caned Digital Anvil.
