WHAT THE HELL?! NO! NO THIS IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
Basically, for this design to work:
- God forbid you have a den smaller than 300 square feet.
- God forbid that den have furniture or bookshelves.
- God forbid that den have a window.
- God forbid your HDTV is smaller than 60 inches or you have to sit closer than fifteen feet.
- God forbid someone want to do something else in the same room when you want to get your game on.
Even if the illustration is an egrigious exaggeration, this will work with a tiny minority of dens and entertainment centers. Remember how you had to move furniture for your Kinect or Wii? This is that times 20. It will be an impressive convention display where Microsoft can present it in a sterile environment they control, but no more.
