The only time Pokemon even came close to COD release times was Black and White 2. That was the first sequel. I don't count the remakes. Those are just done for people who really wanted the older games updated with the newer mechanic's. Besides, even with all the remakes, 3rd versions. They put a hell of a lot more stuff into the games to warrant $40. COD is new map packs and a junk SP game every time. I doubt people would be complaining about yearly releases, if the team could actually make a 20 hr SP game that's worth it.
