This, and cheaper. Lmao at people who think this is going to be affordable

Do we know enough about how it works to know what type of price it would have?
I'm not saying I think it would be cheaper than Oculus Rift, but Oculus Rift is targeting 300$ for launch day. So if you were to buy 4, 1200$, while in comparison if the Illumiroom costs 1000$, it would be cheaper per person, if used by 4 people. Presumeably depending on how it's used, it could be 1000 or way more for application.

Well, I can't say for sure. Just look up the price of a 720 p projector. For a decent one they seem to hang around 800. Then you got to factor in how it projects on at least 5 surfaces. celling, 3 walls and the floor. So that’s going to raise the price, now factor in the x1 only has one hdmi out, sounds like you’re going to need a pass threw for that. Or it could send the info over wifi. Either way the price keeps climbing. But the good thing about the oculus is it displays on the TV as well as the goggles so other can see what’s going on. And its doubt full you could use more than one oculus on any system, maybe pc but the systems won’t be able to handle it.

I agree, but from the video it only seems to be one projector even though the diagram seems to go against that. So it is possible that it could be 1000$+ rather than way way more. Though I'd imagine at this point all of that is subject to change.

I have a hard time believing this will come out this gen, and by the time it does, cheaper and better options would be out there.
