This especially. I think we never knew to a full degree what MS really wanted and how their vision was besides the trolls shouting "ANTI-CONSUMER!!!1!!!".

I was really surprised and confused that gamers can be so conservative to let a system not even try to change something the way it is.

Now even devs say that MS' change was perhaps not the best idea but they had to listen to the crowd on the net which is even now still moaning and complaining and MS changed almost everything they once intended.

please, you know why people were upset. saying people were trolling just because they were calling MS on their anti consumerism...did they not try to make it harder to trade in used games? Did they not try to turn discs into glorified key codes? ala alot of PC games? because the answer to these are yes then we can see the problem.
