This is so weird for me. I'm not saying it's good or bad, just that it's a strange thing to hear. When I worked with Microsoft, it was all about the Family plan. Someone having a problem with General Hardware Failure ("Red Ring of Death" is taboo)? Suggest a Family plan. Someone just got "hacked"? Suggest a Family plan. You're actually speaking with the social engineer responsible? Sign them up for a Family plan!
That's Microsoft, though. They got full steam ahead with one thing, then suddenly they've changed all the verbiage and are launching new policies and systems. I remember that we were all using "Windows Live ID" when I read elsewhere that, hey, it's Microsoft Account now. Maybe send out a memo?
