I'd expect Nintendo either wouldn't be around or would be a part of Sony.
The Super CD deal was way to much in Sony's favor... and after the Phillips CDI disaster...
Also, i question if Sega would still be around. The Saturn would probably face the same problems... if not more from the combined Nitnendo disc system causing the early dreamcast launch to still happen and still fail.
