And this is exactly why you don't vote for progressive, big government politicians, whether they be Dems or Reps. They always start chipping away at your freedoms/privacy in the name of security. Something the founding fathers warned against. Sadly, we have too many uninformed voters who vote for a personality or because of the person's opinions on abortion and/or gay marriage, instead of looking at the big picture.
It's sad when I see people who describe themselves as small government people say, "Well, I'm not doing anything wrong, so it's ok." It doesn't matter if you're doing anything wrong, you're still helping them develop an all seeing eye that they can use against ANYONE they deem an enemy, whether they be a real enemy of the country or just a political enemy. Hell, they might just use some circumstantial evidence to link you to a crime you had nothing to do with.
Big Brother is actually always watching you, now. Too bad they couldn't stop the Boston bombing. Or maybe that's because they are too busy focusing on us, and not the actual terrorists.
