A 2011 PS3 (5 years old) game versus a 2014 PS4 launch window game. Considering the PS3 pretty much hit its visual peak by that time and this is a game releasing a only a few months into the PS4's life, I'd say the differences are good enough. Besides, the closer you get to photorealism the more difficult it is to see improvements.
