I don't get how people are complaining about Twilight Princess' overworld. Hyrule Field in particular. I really don't. Never did and probably never will.
Am I the only one who thought it was absolutely awesome that it would take half an hour to run around the whole of Hyrule Field with Epona while slowly passing all those amazing locations and the many stunning views? I loved to do that, I loved how big and varied Hyrule Field was.
And empty? I never got that either. Were you not looking hard enough? There's plenty of mini-dungeons and secret paths to find. There's plenty of collectables (the bugs and poes) to hunt down. What was everyone expecting? It's a field! Of course it's vast and open!
To me Twilight Princess had the perfect overworld. I hope they build on that for the WiiU game.
